Job Responsibilities:

Receiving Manager:

Assign daily jobs and projects to the other forklift operators in my department. Unload

incoming trucks using pallet jack or sit down forklift. Separate, count and inspect all

products then receive shipments against packing list and receive into computer system

against Purchase Order. Finally file all paperwork accordingly and notify Quality control

that we have received a shipment and it is ready for approval. Log and process customer

returns.

Forklift Operator:

Experience on standup reach trucks and sit down forklifts with accident free record.

Using a standup reach truck stock received items into pick bins or overflow locations

depending on stock levels. Maintain pick bin stock levels and pull large volume items

when needed by the pickers. Maintain correct item locations in the computer system

when removing, locating or relocating items. Perform cycle counts as needed.

LTL Shipper Responsibilities:

Palletize and wrap outbound shipments. Generate rate quotes, process the Bill of Lading

and schedule a pickup for the shipment. Finally make sure to include packing slip and all

commercial invoices with pallet as needed. Also get rates and schedule pickups for

inbound shipments.

Help pick and pack orders as needed for the shipping department.

Help assemble or label items as needed for the assembly department.
