Wood Worker

Hope Initiative - Rochester, NY - August 2013 to August 2014

Responsibilities

Cut wood for the assemblers. Grind metal chairs and cut metal bars to be made into chairs.

Clean in and out of the building by taking out the trash and clean the floors and work ereas. Clean in and out

of the buildings like dumping trash and sweep floors.

Accomplishments

Once I got use to the jobs, I had enjoyed being one of the fast grinders so fast that people'

were amazed how fast and accurate I grinded the melat chairs. Also made drawers as well at a fast pace

Skills Used

I demestrate to be able to work with others, do what I had to do with good detail.

Did my work accurately and did everything that was given to me.

Packer

Food Link - Rochester, NY - June 2010 to October 2012

Responsibilities

Check the boxes for good and bad iteams then seperate them. Get rid of the bad items, and give the good

items to the sorters. Also packed items in boxes and taking items out of boxes. Clean messy work ereas. Take

out the trash and mop the floors. Also clean outside of the building by picking up debre from the parking lot.

Look for trash on the floor then mop them.

Accomplishments

I was one of the fastest sorters and packers. Even had my Superviser said I was one of the best workers here

and did as I told and did things I wasn't told like clean ereas that need to be cleaned. How fast I worked.

Skills Used

Able to pack boxes the way that they were needed to be packed. Know how to check the bad from the good

qucilking and accuratly with little troubles.

Assembler II and Winder

Magnum Shielding - Rochester, NY - December 2005 to August 2009

Responsibilities

Assemble bycicle motercycle brake parts and wind copper wire on spools to be use on another machine that

make copper cables for the brakes

Accomplishments

I created a way to breath while cleaning metal parts under toxic fumes that came out of acidtone. The system

I made was so good that I didn't even have to use the mask. Made a part for the winder that help keep the

wire from falling off right under the weel that spins the wire to assist the wire to be spooled.

Skills Used

I demestrate the right way how I made the brakes. I did everything accurately with no problem.

I trained others to do the same work as me so I was very familiar with the steps on how to make brakes. Also

taught others how to spool wire and what to do when mistakes to take place.

When someone needed my help, I was there to help them right away.
