WORK EXPERIENCE
Owner, Operator, and crew foreman
Hammett Construction, 2005 – present
Manages crew to ensure that all work performed meets required specifications, processes payroll,
and maintains safety requirements for all jobs. Maintained perfect safety record for ten years, no
incidents or recordables. Processes customer quotes and drafting contracts for customers.
Assembles and installs metal buildings and steel components (including overhead cranes,
mezzanines, windows, roll up doors, passage door installation, etc.) Jobs included varying sizes
of commercial and industrial projects including recreational facilities, warehouses, fabrication
shops, agricultural structures, such as pole barns, and heavy industrial projects.
Read blueprints and specifications to lay out the work. Unload and stack steel units so each piece
can be hoisted as needed. Utilize scaffolding, telescopic forklifts, and construction cranes and
other hoisting equipment. Align and fit steel units in place by bolting and/or welding. Inspect
weld connections on the construction of building projects. Erect structural and architectural
metal components for buildings and other structures. Assembles rigging to perform various
construction procedures. Installs fiberglass building insulation, metal panels, and standing seam
roofs.

Read and interpreted blue prints (technical drawings) and specifications. Assembled and installed
metal buildings and steel components including: windows, roll up doors, passage door
