CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING / SALES
• Responsible for estimating large loss projects with Insurance Adjusters and providing itemized estimates for
repairs to residential and commercial properties.
• Packaged insurance settlements to owners’ with value engineered options for repairs and/or remodel work, in
order to renovate the property within funds allocated from the insurance settlement.
• Efficiently complete material and labor take offs from plans and specifications.
• Work with engineers and ownership to establish design build plans for reconstruction.
• Collected multiple material and subcontractor proposals to set budgets.
• Professional skills with Xactimate and Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Create and execute contract documents, change orders, subcontract purchase orders, material orders, and project
close out documents.
• Produce, maintain, and manage project budgets and associated job cost.
• Provide monthly Work In Progress Reports to senior management in order to update the progress of current
projected profits, completion schedules, and outstanding action items on all active projects.
• Work with owners to create working documents for material budgets and project schedules.
• Conduct meetings with owners and subcontractors to review progress of construction, and address any possible
changes to the contract documents.
• Efficiently manage production staff in order to encourage creative thinking, provide support and resources for
production team, and isolate problems to create solutions.
• Responsible for tracking and quantifying construction changes in order to provide documentation and cost to
owners and/or owners insurance company.
• Manage between 15 and 25 projects in a twelve month calendar year. Project sizes range from 5k to15 million.
• Support marketing team to establish and maintain relationships with new and past clients.
ACCOUNTING / COLLECTIONS
• Review monthly billings and pay applications to clients for current work in progress.
• Negotiate disputed billing amounts with Insurance companies and Owners to collect outstanding balances.
• Monitor and follow up with past due billings and collections.
