• Demolition, removal, fabrication, distribution, and installation of all materials and glass.

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the size, shape, color, type, or thickness of glass, including location, framing, installation process, and staging/scaffolding materials required.

• Residential and commercial, including high-rise buildings.

Capital Glass (Jackson, Ms)

Glazer, Shop Foreman (January 1995 – December 2000)

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the size, shape, color, type, or thickness of glass, including location, framing, installation process, and staging/scaffolding materials required.

• In charge of delegating work responsibilities, and overseeing all productivity of up to 12 people.

• Responsible for checking the condition of all incoming glass and materials.

• Responsible for coordinating, loading, and securing all materials on installation trucks for delivery.

Skills

• Experienced in swinging stage and 4 point suspension single man chairs and wheeled man lifts.

• Able to determine plumbing of walls or ceilings, and using plumbing lines and levels.

• Fabricate and install metal sashes or moldings for glass installation, using aluminum or steel framing.

• Working knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.

• Capable of running five separate CAD programs. CAD 2d, CAD 3d, Structural, Revit, and Inventor.
