Present and Past Experience: According to Relevance
Edwards Electrical Engineer dedicated to Intel Hillsboro FAB, March 2014 to present day:
At Edwards Vacuum, I am one of the main electrical engineering contacts for Intel Hillsboro new designs,
retrofits, and electrical engineering support. Mainly, I specify electrical power systems according to the
custom designs communicated by the client. I serve on electrical product development teams and participate
in activities from conceptual design to installation procedures and device testing. I introduce new devices
developed by Edwards to corresponding client engineers. I work closely with the client on issues such as
device obsolescence and issue troubleshooting. I serve on teams dedicated to high security tool
communications designated by tool owners.
Jeld WEN Thermal Engineer and Window Designer, September 15, 2012 to June 15, 2013:
One year senior project thermal modeling and Energy Star efficiency rating
Jeld WEN Window and Door Inc. I developed new parts with an energy efficiency objective. My team role
ranged from materials research to thermal modeling and design. I developed exterior window parts to take
the place of highly conductive aluminum parts while keeping architectural look and integrity. I developed a
process of metal foiling thermally resistive substrates.
Project Design and Construction Management March 1994 to March 2009:
As an independent builder, I procured and developed projects in the historic neighborhoods of Atlanta, GA.
In addition I developed light commercial properties in retail areas of Inman Park, Virginia Highlands, and
Decatur. I worked with clients, financiers, and architects to develop custom home replacements and
renovations. I managed a number of schedules simultaneously to keep projects on time and budget goals.
Torrente Millwork and Furniture Fabrication June 1982 to March 1994:
To begin my work history, I began working for my father, Michael J. Torrente, at a very young age. I worked
my way up to all aspects of the furniture and millwork business from tool maintenance to turning and
carving high quality furniture. We built custom interior and exterior molding and trim packages for some of
the most expensive homes in and around Atlanta, GA.
