SUMMER INTERNSHIPs

• Research Internship in ‘POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, POLAND’:

Under “Prof. Piotr Garstecki” I was involved in a project of “Micro fluidics”. It is related

with vapour polishing of micro channels with DCM vapours of thermoplastic polymer and effect of

different parameters on roughness of polymer. I also worked on several advanced methods of surface

analysis within those two months.

• Industrial Training:

Underwent industrial training in ‘J.K.CEMENT, MUDDAPUR’ for a period of 6weeks.

pROJECTS

• Effect of hydrodynamic resistance on pattern of droplets formed in microchannels (Major) :

Here we are investigating the pattern of train of droplets formed of oil and 2% hexadecane in water

due to change in Resistance of Teflon tubes and microchannels depending on various parameters like

diameter, length and pressure.

• Investigation Of Fin Efficiency: A working model for the investigation of fin efficiency for various

grooves orientation over varying flow patterns and Reynolds number (Miniproject)

• Extraction of silver from X-Ray films: Novel method for the extraction of silver from used X-ray

films. Removal of gelatine layer along with silver and then extraction of silver from solution of AgNO3

with copper by displacement reaction. (Miniproject).

• Worked over software like ‘COMSOL’, MATLAB and have basic knowledge of Python.

• School topper in class 10th..

• Scored 94% in PCM in 12th boards.

• Cleared ‘NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION-2006’ with very

good percentage (school topper).

TOURNAMENTS.’
