Project Superintendent. Construction management services for a
facility wide modernization and expansion of the international crossing from
Champlain, New York to Canada. The existing station is the second busiest
in New York State and fourth largest on the Canadian/US border. Work
included the construction a new two story cargo processing building, nine (9)
commercial inspection booths, Administration building, new Veterinary
Services building, new Export building, new Hazardous Material building, new
Secondary Inspection Garage building and associated canopies, 10 new
passenger inspection lanes consisting of booths and canopies, the demolition
of several existing buildings, civil site work, new truck staging areas, and
NYDOT work including access ramps and roadways from the US/Canadian
Border intersection with I-87.
Supervised field operations of self-performing and subcontractors for a General Contractor. Key projects
include:
• Wal-Mart SuperCenter/Sam’s Club – Tarentum, PA. - $16 million

Supervised field operations of self-performing and subcontractors for a General Contractor, Key project:
Greater Rochester International Airport Security Checkpoint Project Phases lb & 2 and

• Design development and coordination with architects/engineers/ construction manager
• Development and implementation of site and task specific safety/logistics plans with airport safety and
security personnel in order to maintain passenger and airport personnel safety as well as terminal
operations at all times

installation of the new Flight Information Data System equipment and software
Project Manager, Rochester Rigging and Erectors 1995 - 2003
Charged with overall management of structural and miscellaneous steel projects of up to $1 million in
western New York, from estimating thru engineering, shop drawing development, procurement, fabrication
to erection.
• Consistently managed several concurrent projects at multiple site locations to maximize efficiencies and
productivity.
• Provided critical on-site direction of multiple subcontracted and self-performing erection crews to ensure
compliance with quality standards and project deadlines.
• Coordinated the development of shop drawings to ensure compliance with job specifications and to
reduce errors and omissions.
• Assisted shop personnel during fabrication to ensure compliance with detail drawings and timely
scheduling to reduce re-fabrication and time delays.

Supervised field operations of self-performing and subcontractors for a General Contractor. Additionally
coordinated subcontractors and handled project safety responsibilities. Key projects involved new
construction, renovation, additions, and retrofitting for food and energy producers, retailers, and
educational institutions including
• Wal-Mart Club Stores, 246,000 SF Combined Retail Store - Niagara Falls, NY $10 Million. Served
as Project Engineer for each store and Project Superintendent for Sam’s Club. Degree of difficulty was
enhanced due to accelerated schedules, inclement weather, and labor issues.
• Student Activity Center, State University of New York at Buffalo - Amherst, NY $12.5 million.
Project Superintendent and Project Engineer for an addition that required adjoining to an existing,
operating facility and involved increased life safety and critical coordination considerations.
• Indeck/Olean Cogeneration - Olean, NY $3.0 million
GC package on a $90 million CM project. Included concrete, masonry, miscellaneous metal, and
underground piping for steam & gas turbine cogeneration facility
