Major project:

• Project Title : Design of Dual Axis Solar Tracker

• Organization : Christu Jyoti Institute of Technology and Science

• Team Size : Four

• Role : Team Leader

Description:

• Dual axis solar tracker used to tracks the sun direction in X & Y direction to have a

maximum efficiency of solar to electrical energy conversion.

• It uses Light Dependent resistors as a sensor to detect solar panel’s position w.r.to sun’s

position.

• Using the sensor information the Motor Driver IC drives the motor to rotate the solar

panel.

Mini project: 3-phase appliance protector

To detect the fault in a 3 phase system, 3 phase appliance protector circuit is used. In this

circuit we use relay, contactor, and timer to verify whether all the 3 phases are available or not.

This circuit protects the appliance by disconnecting the power supply through the contactor and

automatically restores the three-phase supply to the appliance (with reasonable time delay) when

all the phases are available.
