Profile

Technically speaking, I could describe myself, as a MicroStrategy Business Intelligence specialist. In

September 2006, I started working with Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse and so far, I have been working

primarily with MicroStrategy technology. I have experience with the whole MicroStrategy project life cycle (from

the mapping of the Data Warehouse tables to the development of Reports and Dashboards) and so far, I have

taken three MicroStrategy Certifications!

I've also been developing Business Intelligence projects with other tools like IBM Cognos. Although I'm

not a database specialist, I've been working with the following databases systems: Teradata, Oracle, DB2 and

SQL Server.

Working at MicroStrategy since 2010, I have been having the opportunity to develop Business Intelligence

projects that goes through the whole MicroStrategy life cycle at different industries and countries like Brazil and

USA. I've been having good recommendations by the clients I've been working so far. Clients like Target, Wells

Fargo, Avon and BMF&Bovespa (just to quote a few) recognized me by the hard and quality work I performed

there.

In this project, I was responsible for creating a few MicroStrategy Dashboards to a specific department of Itau

Bank. Actually, I had to create the whole MicroStrategy project, from mapping the tables to Reports and

Dashboards. At this particular client I also worked on some Data Modeling and ETL tasks.

In this project, I used to be part of a team of developers working for Brazilian biggest TELCO Corporation. We

have developed a lot of MicroStrategy Reports and Dashboards, so the president of the company could track the

most important KPIs they have. At this particular client I also worked on some Data Modeling tasks.

Offshore development of Reports and Cubes using Cognos 7.3 tools for a bigger pharmaceutical company in the

USA. At this client I've also been assigned the task of fixing some ETL jobs developed with Oracle PL/SQL.
