Hello,
my name is Franco Risso and I'm interested in be part of your company.
I have worked as web developer (php, mysql, javascript, html/css, etc), since 2008, my last job
was in Hulkshare.com as developer and project manager. I work there completely remote from my
home in Argentina for more than a year.

- PHP MVC frameworks: CodeIgniter, Laravel, CakePHP. I can learn any framework MVC fast.
- PHP CMS systems (I worked in the past with Magento, Wordpress and Drupal (I hate this one))
- PHP Unit testing.
- AB testing techniques, I use for specific problems where I need to check different hipothesys
around a programming problem or a user experience situation, or to calculate the best coefficients
on calculations for recommendation systems (using sphinx for example, I've done AB testing to
validate constant values affecting different fields).
- Frontend: I can do almost anything with jQuery. I don't have any issues in learning other lib as
well.
- Backbone.js framework to build ajax based websites.
- MySQL optimization (I've worked a lot on this, specially in my last company)
- Memcache
- Sphinx
- Facebook API (for web and android as well)
- Google APIs: maps, statistics, translate, etc. Any API done by google I can learn really quick.
- Android gaming: I use LibGDX library.
- Version control systems: SVN, GIT, GAE.
- Google AppEngine
- Console use to improve the time for some daily tasks (renaming files, searching, etc).
- Agile methodology (I like SCRUM)
- Ajax based websites
- Collective Inteligence techniques: like clustering, neural networks or relation algorithms.
- Background in Computer Science, I've done 3 full years of University and I'm self educated.
- Startup methodology: I've read all the Eric Ries series of books, from statistics to UX design.
Also I've read Steve Blank's book and try to implement some of the tools I learn in my projects.
- Google analytics analysis: I've done the Google course for analytics.
I'm willing to:

Work experience: I have worked in the first years of my career like freelancer, so I have
worked for several companies in long time relationships and also with final clients
(business owners in general).

Project Manager, Senior PHP developer.
I work here with a large database, and my job in general was define development phases, and the
backend development, specially the MySQL queries, that have to manage up to 1 millon of
queries per minute (and we use memcache and sphinx sometimes to improve performance).
I've also done recommendations system, mostly based on static fields, but we start to build a
neural network that never went throught, but I did read a lot about and learn some really
interesting algorithms about that.
We also did a lot of AB testing here, in general we try different ways of show related tracks, tracks
for a given style, and tracks by user profile.

I've worked with Wordpress, PHP, several frameworks, javascript and lots of projects. I've worked

I have worked mostly with small size projects, however I've done personal projects like
www.reallycoolquotes.com, www.gaypont.com and others not alive now, that manage big datasets
and more interesting programming challenges (gaypont.com was a dating network that use to
hold up to 10.000 users and I have tested some collective intelligence techniques to recommend
possibles matches and we do cause several unions :), but we didn't know how to monetize so it
went down ).
