Hired as Construction Manager for 430 MW power plant in the Dominican
Republic. Assignment consisted of managing all contractors &
Engineering done by Wartsila, ABB, & Elicnor to construct the facility.
Facility consists of 24 18V50DF Wartsila engines capable of generating
18 MW each. Project consist of two transmission lines, one going to
Barrick's Pueblo Viejo mine in northeastern DR and on to a substation
for dispatch to grid. Plant also involves a 7 km HFO pipeline from
San Pedro supplying HFO for fueling the engines. Pumping station at
port in San Pedro consists of two 400 hp compressors for pushing HFO to
storage tanks located at plant site. ABB supplies all material &
equipment for dispatch to the transmission lines going to mine & grid.
Plant valued at $400,000,000 including land acquisition, rights-of-way
and equipment.

Hired as Construction Manager Position on Dust Mitigation program
that URS
was given contract for by OG & E. Duties encompass overseeing
contractors per-
forming ensuring they are following safety guidelines,
specifications set out in
design documents, and following codes and regulatory compliance

shortfalls. Health problems (high blood pressure) prevented my
completing the project and had to take a leave of absence. Have since
restored my normal condition and am in good health.

Hired as Owner's representative for OG&E by URS to oversee 120MW Wind
Turbine Project. Project consisted of 80 General Electric 1.5 MW Wind
Turbines, covered 4500 acres, and spread over approximately 6 miles.
Had to run water supply piping from local river and set up remote
concrete batching facility. Project has to pour foundation at night to
prevent concrete from becoming to "hot" while batching and pouring .
Ensured contractor complied with all design standards as well as all
regulatory guidelines.
