CAREER QUALIFICATIONS
• Well Drilling and Completion
o Inspected the drilling, completion, development, and testing of large groundwater
production wells completed to a depth of 3,200 feet below ground level and capable of
producing more than 5,000 gallons per minute
o Systematic recording of drilling fluid properties
o Created detailed record of the depth, thickness, and rock type through examination of
rock cuttings brought to the surface during drilling operations
o Conducted inspection well casing setting and cementing, screen setting, and gravel
packing
o Documented all materials and settings (drill bits, casing, screens, tubing, completion
settings) meet engineer specifications
o Supervised the development of well following completion to ensure well meets
efficiency and sand guarantees
o Communicate regularly with Senior Project Managers regarding the progress and
preliminary results of operations
Hydrogeologic Exploration and Evaluation
•
o Conducted geophysical surveys in Oklahoma using Electrical Resistivity (ER) to
provide data for the development of groundwater flow models designed to evaluate
well fields and groundwater availability from an alluvial system
o Oversight the drilling of several exploration wells, over an area of 20,000 acres, in order
to identify and delineate the potential water
bearing zones within the Woodbine
aquifer, Paluxy sand, and Twin Mountain formation in northeast Texas
o Constructed detailed geologist log of the depth, thickness, and rock type of the geologic
units forming the targeted aquifers and producing zones
o Assisted in the evaluation of hydrogeologic conditions of various aquifers in Texas and
Oklahoma in support of requirements for water rights permitting
Aquifer Testing and Water Sampling
•
o Conducted large volume pumping tests with rates up to 2,000 gallons per minute in
order to analyze the hydraulic properties of the aquifer and well
o Implemented groundwater level and quality monitoring programs
o Work in conjunction with drilling contractors in order to maximize pumping rates
o Conducted groundwater sampling for microscopic particulate analysis (MPA
o Collected numerous groundwater samples during constant
rate production testing
o Performed lake water sample collection
o Assisted drilling contractors in the collection and preservation of water samples
o Experience in the evaluation of water quality data
