PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Y

2013 - 2014 Project engineer, multiVIEW, Mississauga, Canada.

Successfully managed numerous SUE projects within budget while

meeting the projects' timelines and scopes. The main projects

included: 1) City of Toronto 2014 capital works program (WSP Canada)

for $400,000.?2) City of Toronto basement flooding 3 (Hatch Mott

MacDonald) for $60,000.

Established standard protocols for field data collection processes

and professional utility conflict analysis and also quality control

processes for technical/cost proposals, CAD drawings and reports for

SUE projects, road pavement reconstruction and site redevelopment.

Successfully managed GPR survey projects related to pavement

asphalt/granular/concrete thickness measurements, rebar deterioration

analysis and post tension cable integrity test in bridges, from

proposal generation to field execution, data interpretation, analysis

and report generation. The main clients included: 1) ARA. 2) DBA

Engineering Ltd.?3) Thurber Engineering Ltd. 4) URS. 5) WSP Canada.

2008 - 2013 NDT specialist, Project manager, Technologies, Non-Destructive

Testing (NDT) Group, HATCH, Mississauga, Canada.

Successfully managed a $150,000 metal level measurement field trial

project using Eddy current technology with a team of 4 members in a

Nickel smelter.

Managed furnace condition monitoring projects using Acousto

Ultrasonic-Echo (AU-E) technique (refractory lining thickness

measurement) including proposal preparation, estimation,

cost/schedule/scope management, field data collection, data analysis,

report generation and outcome presentation for numerous smelters

including Anglo Platinum, Ansteel, ArcelorMittal, BCL, BHP Billiton,

Codelco, Tata Steel, Kennecott Copper, Loma, Lonmin Platinum, PFK,

Stillwater, Vale and Xstrata.

Initiated a research project on Ultrasonic monitoring of cooling

staves in a blast furnace for successful receiving of NSERC grant

joint with the University of Toronto.

Facilitated data analysis, visualization and selection of optimum

parameters for data acquisition instrument by developing a fully

featured analysis software using LabVIEW package.

2005 - 2008 Engineering scientist, Sensor Technology Laboratory, General Electric

Global Research (GE - GRC), Munich, Germany.

Visualized ion trajectory in ion mobility mass spectrometer (IMS) by

simulating different ionization regions and drift tubes geometries

using LORENTZ and SIMION packages.

Characterized thermal desorber of IMS by developing numerical

routines to process the IMS's output data using MATLAB package.

Facilitated mechanical design of a prototype optical pressure sensor

by conducting a Six Sigma Green Belt study and Monte Carlo simulation

on geometry dependency of sensor's sensitivity using DESIGN-EXPERT,

MINITAB and ZEMAX packages.
