Professional Experience

May ’13 – Current ~ Lead Project Engineer ~ IBI Group, Inc. ~ Westerville, OH

Current lead project engineer on two ODOT projects (HAM-75-12.60 and HAM-75-10.10) with construction

costs estimated at $115 million and $48 million, respectively.

Responsible for managing all aspects of roadway design including geometric design, drainage design,

maintenance of traffic, right-of-way, traffic control, and plan production.

Coordinate with and advise coworkers from three internal offices as well as external subcontractors and clients

to ensure smooth production and a timely delivery.

Assign tasks to junior engineers, oversee their progress, and provide mentorship.

Manage and organize all files included in the submission of deliverables.

Perform office-wide software updates for Geopak and am responsible for finding solutions to issues with the

software.

Work on other phases of the HAM-75 “Thru the Valley” project performing roadway design tasks as well as

multi-office coordination and file management.

Complete fee proposals in an effort to make the transition into the business aspect of project management.

Attend marketing events and entertain clients on behalf of IBI Group.

Worked on projects of various types and sizes including design -builds ranging from $75,000 to $187,000,000

and determined ways to reduce bid price by considering lower cost design alternatives.

Involvement in all aspects of highway design including geometric design, drainage and hydraulic design, BMP

design, grading, pavement design, and maintenance of traffic .

Culvert design and details using HEC-RAS, HY-8 and CDSS.

Create cost estimates using ODOT Estimator.

ODOT training courses include Maintenance of Traffic, HEC -RAS, and Geopak.

Strong knowledge of ODOT VBAs.
