• Completed design, construction and automation of a flow system to mimic a car engine that will be connected to a larger test bed to test the

capabilities of Aerogels as replacements for catalytic converters.

Student Researcher, Improved Pressurized Burst Testing of Ballistic Self-Healing in Ionomers, Union College 2012- 2013

• Built, automated (in Matlab and Simulink) and debugged a Pressure Burst Tester in order to study the mechanical properties of self- healing

polymers, then compared the burst pressures of undamaged samples to damaged and healed samples. I also drafted a user manual for the

device.

• A self-designed project where I studied the mechanics of moving scenery in the theater during the Renaissance and Baroque Periods then
