P roject : D esign and I mplementation Of the CRC Block For Zigbee

S tandard on CPLD.

Description:

Cyclic redundancy check (CRC) block can be implemented on CPLD to achieve

s imple, low cost, low power consumption for Zigbee Standard.CRC provides very

efficient protection against commonly occurring burst errors .CRC’s can detect

a ll one bit and two bits errors as well as all odd number of bit in error .It is

easy to implement. If any changes in Zigbee Standard in future, it can be

reprogrammed by means of Complex Programmable Logic Device as CPLD is

reconfigurable device. H ardware implementation is high Speed, when compared

to software implementation . I ts verified at 1 M HZ. We Implemented that CRC

b lock can identify all burst errors during the t ransmission.
