BE PROJECT
Jun' 13 - Mar' 14
Topic- Static and Dynamic Force Analysis of Slider Crank Mechanism on
Ansys.
Description
< Determination of Engine parameters and their Tolerance and Clearance
values before and after expansion due to high temperatures.
< Modelling of Engine components using determined engine components on
Solidworks.
< Assembling of components on Solidworks.
< Importing assembled files in Ansys using IGES Format.
< Performed 13 Analyses of Piston, Crankshaft, Connecting Rod, Crank and
Gudgeon Pins.
< Analyses include Static Structural, Modal, Harmonic and Thermal
analyses.
< Analyses of Results from Ansys and theoretical values thereby
suggesting Types of Errors and their magnitude.
METHANOL FUEL CELL PROJECT
Feb' 14 - Till Now
It was a project carried out under a PHD professor to prove the viability
of methanol fuel cells used in Automobiles to get rid of fossil fuel used
in gasoline powered vehicles.
Description
< A totally R&D project with lots of external knowledge of Chemistry,
Electrolysis, Alternate Energy and Electricity storage and
requirements.
< Design of Fuel Cell components and lot of Testing to ensure the output
is continuous and matched with the power requirements.
< Efficiency of Fuel Cell is a very important parameter so ensuring the
efficiency requirements.
< Dealing with the Manufacturing difficulties of Graphite of which fuel
cell block was made.
< Obtained results were analysed for the feasibility in the real world
working conditions.
< Proposed fuel cell layout was suggested in the Technical Paper
Presentation at KJSCE.
