PROJECTS:

Speed Checker for H ighway:

o While driving on highways, motorists should not exceed the maximum speed limit

permit ted for their vehicle. However, accidents keep occur ring due to speed violations

since the drivers tend to ignore their speedometers.

o This speed checker will come handy for the highway t raffic police as i t will not only

p rovide a digital display in accordance with a vehicle. if the vehicle exceeds the

permissible speed for the highway.

o Knowing how and when to use technology and choosing the most appropriate tool

for the task .

o The system basically comprises two laser t ransmitter-LDR sensor pairs, which are

i nstalled on the highway 100 metres apart, with the t ransmit ter and the LDR sensor of

each pair on the opposite sides of the road.
