OVERVIEW: IN THIS POSITION, I WORKED COOPERATIVELY WITH SENIOR ENGINEERS AND PROJECT MANAGERS TO PROVIDE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES REQUIRED TO SUPPORT MULTIPLE PROJECTS. IN THIS CAPACITY, I PRIMARILY FOCUSED ON THE FOLLOWING DUTIES AND TASKS:

•Worked cooperatively with fellow associates, Project Managers, and Studio Director to effectively address client needs, surveys, construction and design issues or conflicts.

•Coordinated project schedules and requirements with clients and relevant external parties; participated in meetings and directly interacted via telephone with contractors in the field regarding design decisions for projects.

•Surveyed space and provided accurate survey drawings using AutoCAD 2009 to produce concise construction documents and specifications for engineering projects, especially those requiring new documentation.

•Completed TR and basic tenant design documents according to KTA standards and check lists; produced basic load calculations and equipment selections, i.e., fans, supplemental air conditioning units and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) duct layout.

•Provided as-built HVAC system documentation from site surveys for various tenant projects.

•Served as Submission Coordinator, responsible for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drawing set up, and updates within AutoCAD format; managed all phases of submission and delivery of construction documents to the client.

•Provided mechanical HVAC design for various commercial tenant retrofit projects; produced basic load calculations, equipment selections, schedules, duct work layout, and job specific details; also provided mechanical HVAC as-built documents from site surveys for various commercial and telecommunications projects.

•Assisted engineers in retrofit Telecommunications/Data Centers projects for various organizations for telecommunications projects.

•Established a working knowledge of AT&T standards; made decisions and complied with the standards for all associated projects.
