Nov. '13 - June '14
Contract employment to rebuild and update an Exchange 2010 environment that
had been incorrectly installed by a 3rd-party vendor. Rebuilt the mailbox
servers as well as the hub transport servers. Incorporated these servers
into Production with their existing encryption appliances, as well as
installing and configuring a Barracuda virtual appliance for SPAM
filtering. Helped them install 7 SQL Server 2012 instances in a Windows
2008 R2 Clustered environment for Production database use. Their
environment utilizes Citrix XenCenter 6.2 for virtual servers and Citrix
XenDesktop for Virtual PCs.

Systems Administration Manager
In 2012, we virtualized the entire Production environment in order to move
the servers into a hardened facility for Disaster Recovery purposes. We
utilized Microsoft Hyper-V and Dell Equalogic SANs to accomplish this goal.
Responsible for building, administering and maintaining 90+ Windows 2000,
Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 Servers performing Active Directory
authentication, File & Print services, Web e-commerce services, Microsoft
Exchange 2000, 2003 & 2010 e-mail (with clustering) with Surf Control and
Ironport SPAM filtering, FaxSr/Genifax Faxing Services, Intel LanDesk
utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 6.5, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005
Enterprise Edition, Internet Firewall utilizing Microsoft ISA Server 2004
in conjunction with Checkpoint's Firewall-1 NGX software. Also responsible
for the 1000+ corporate workstations in addition to the entire network
LAN/WAN infrastructure, including managed switches, routers and T1
connections. Managed a staff of 6 people to accomplish job objectives.
Administered Enterprise SQL Server installation which was the back-end
database for the ERP Solution SAP. This installation was clustered for
uptime (99.99%) and performance.
Projects overseen include entire infrastructure installation, upgrade of
authenticating domain from NT 4.0 to Win2k3 and then to Win2k8, changing of
websites from being 3rd-party hosted to in-house, installation of bonded-T1
Internet circuits and various other frame-relay circuits and the
installation of a VoIP Cisco phone system and conversion of in-house SAP
ERP system from Unix to Windows and then from a EMC disk sub-system to a
Dell.

based programs for the Accounting Department. Responsible for the
implementation and maintenance of financial data on an NT 4.0 Server
running SQL Server 6.0. Designed and implemented a Client/Server
