Academic projects:
Broken Link Checker
• Developed a java program that reports URL errors by checking the URL. JSoup node is used for the
i mplementation of the code. The code also validates the URL.
• The Code is also used to check the Depth of the given URL.
Inter Process Communication
• Developed IPC based on Semaphores and Message Queues.
• The process includes creation of IPC functions, Key arguments and f lags (POSIX message queue and POSIX
semaphore functions are used).
• The semaphore set must be initialized using semget ; the semaphore creator can change its ownership or
permissions using semctl ; and semaphore operations are performed via the semop f unction.

• Checking the BAD state channel.
• Transfer of data with and without RTS/CTS and comparing the results.
• Collision detection and avoidance.
• Simultaneous data t ransfer within a network and the minimum distance of 150 meters.
