INDUSTRIAL TRAINING:

Completed 30 days of Industrial training in “Heavy Maintenance (Electrical)”at

“Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL)” Rourkela, Orissa.

The project involved learning about Heavy Maintenance (Electrical) such as Electrical

Cranes, Heavy electrical motors in rolling and spinning mills, transmission and distribution system throughout

the industry, and their architecture.

It also enabled me to learn about panel board designing and its components like

contactor, relays, bus wires and the different stators for electrical motors.

MAJOR PROJECT:

“FOOT STEP POWER GENERATION USING PIEZOELECTRIC MATERIAL”

using piezoelectric transducers array, AC ripple neutralizer, AT89S52, Unidirectional Current Controller,

inverter & 16X2 LCD.

An average person, weighing 60 kg, will generate only 0.1 watt in the single second

required to take both steps across the tile of piezoelectric sensor.

MINOR PROJECT:

“AUTOMATIC NIGHT LAMP WITH POWER SUPPLY FAILURE ALARM

WITH INVERTER” using LDR, Optocoupler (MOC3021), AC Triode (BT136).

The aim of the project is to save the energy or power, used mainly in households or

industries and also we don’t need to manually operate the light as it automatically turns off during the day

time and in the same way turns on during the night.
