design, development, API, services, marketing, etc. to provide a meaningful experience for
paying subscribers and an experience conducive to new customer acquisition. Experience with

Owning several complex cross-functional projects to make family history a social,

Played an integral roll in propelling the Ancestry app into the top 25 grossing iTunes

Responsible for managing eInstruction’s student response product line a software and hardware
solution comprised of assessment software and handheld remotes to help teachers measure
student comprehension immediately. Reported to director of product management.
Key accomplishments include:
Developed and launched the new CPS™ Spark product which outperformed the initial

sales volume of sister products.
Headed a large maintenance project to stabilize eInstruction’s core assessment software
•
products. This included three maintenance releases and seven service packs over an 18
month period, resulting in a 35% reduction in tech support calls and a significant increase
in sales channel confidence.
Proposed dramatic changes to a virtual student response product and iPhone app based on
•
customer observation, tech support trends, sales interviews, win/loss analysis and
competitive research. The project has been approved and currently holds a place on the
roadmap.
Lead multiple successful beta programs which included recruitment of beta participants,

beta communications, tracking of reported issues, and collaboration with development
and QA.
Wrote PRD for the student response piece of a new product package. This required

working closely with other product managers to ensure each requirement would work
interdependently.
Lead a product strategy team to research and propose the direction of the student

response product line over the next 3-5 years.
