● Used SolidWorks to design and modify automotive cooling components-Radiators and
Intercooler.
● Applied Fluid Dynamic and Heat Transfer knowledge to design dual and triple baffles
radiator.
Senior Engineering Design Project, Winter 2014
● Design an Automatic Sun Tracking System to block direct sunlight for UCSD sky imager.
● Worked with Arduino and Motor Shield controller to keep the sunblocker on track of the
sun path.
● Worked with Machine Shop to machine the major components out of stainless steel and
aluminum.
● Throughout careful design and accurate calculation, $2500 budget were given but only
$1000 was spent.
Mechanical Design Project II, Spring 2013
● Design a FSAE racing car subframe to increase the performance of the racing car.
● Worked with SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis simulation to decrease the
weight of the subframe while maintaining the minimum rigidity.
● Worked with Machine Shop to build the subframe out of aluminum metal, Femap.
● $2000 budget were given.

Software: I am proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Matlab, CreoPro, C++, Microsoft Office,
LabView, and Femap.
Machines: Drill Press, End Mill, Lathes, Band Saw, Edge Finder.
