SUMMARY: 42 years of experience in estimating and field supervision of heavy road and bridge

projects. Extensive experience in earth fill dams, landfills, heavy rail work, structural concrete,

underground utilities, tie-back and soil nail shoring, rock excavation and mico piles. Experience working

Project: Los Angeles County Sanitation District $90 Million

Project consist of the construction of 4 miles of rail work for Union Pacific including beam in place,

precast concrete wall, underground work, box culverts and bridge construction. OTCA rail grade

separator and 400 ft. long bridge $30 Million. City of Anaheim road widening with Cal Trans, type 1

retaining walls $10 Million.

Position: Project Superintendent/Construction Manager

El Toro Marine Base land fill closures for the United State Navy.

Project: Consolidation of existing waste and the placing of 150,000 CY of foundation material and

placing of 200,000 CY of clay cap. Also, drainage features.

My responsibilities as Construction Manager was to work closely with lead project manager and regional

manager overseeing a team of design and construction tasked with conceptual planning, scheduling cost

estimating, final work planning. Projects now in the construction stage is Marine Base 29 Palms design

build $10 million land fill. Project includes excavation, waterline, sewer and building construction.

Other type of work included demolition and soil remediation.

Position: Public Works Superintendent

Duties: Manage projects from pre-construction through the completion. Organization of equipment, labor

and materials. The maintaining of all safety procedures and quality control of projects.

Type of Projects: Road reconstruction.

MZT, SANTA ANA, CA

Position: Superintendent

Type of work: Site preparation for the construction of Prado Dam in Corona. Work included land clearing

of 500 acres and building of haul roads. Owner Army Corps of Engineers. Contract $2.75 million.

The construction of roads at Fort Lewis, WA. Work included land clearing, earth work, drainage and

paving. Contract $1.5 million.

I-5 ramp construction in Mission Viejo, CA. Work included excavation, bridge widening, concrete paving

and A/C paving.

Type of work: Reconstruction of Valencia interchange I-5 and city road work projects. Reconstruction of

Pier B’s road for Port of Long Beach which included replacement of a water main and new storm drain

system.

Type of work: Land fill cover for the United States Navy, Port Hueneme, Ca.

Project: Placing various types of geotextile materials over the existing dump area. Storm drain work,

detention basin, excavation of approximately 250,000 CY of material and the import of approximately

500,000 CY of spec material over the geotextile material.

Position: Estimator/Project Manager

Type of work: School site development from the rough grading through building foundations and road

construction from lane widening to total road removal and underground work.

MITCHELL PACIFIC, PALM SPRINGS, CA

Position: Project Superintendent

Project: Seismic retro fitting of a 12-story bell tower for the University of Riverside. Work included

driving of concrete friction piles for new foundation, doweling to existing concrete columns and pouring

a new column to the existing. Also, the bell chamber installed structural steel for diagonal bracing.

Contract $3 million. Also, the building of a pump station for Rialto water that included the building of a

intake manifold and the 36 inch CML supply pipeline. Contract $1 million.

VANCE CORP., RIALTO, CA

Position: Project Superintendent

Type of work: Road, highway and airport fields. Either new or reconstruction which includes major

excavation, grading, underground, structural concrete work and paving. Total site development for school

reconstruction. Estimator on selected projects and supervised million dollar plus projects. Handled all

pre-construction scheduling, planning of labor, material, equipment and costs. Largest project was a site

development for a mobile home park for the city of Rialto, CA. Contracts price $10 million.

C. J. LANGENFELDER, BALTIMORE, MD

Project: Superintendent

Type of work: Owner of the project is United States Steel Corporation in Waynsburg, PA. The project

was building a 3 million CY fill dam, a 35 acre reservoir for the reclamation of acid water from the coal

mines. The installation of a $5 million piping system for drainage and water recovery including major

structural concrete placement for overflow and intake structures and pipe cradles through the valleys.

Contract $25 million.

ANJO CONSTRUCTION, PITTSBURGH, PA

Position: Superintendent

Type of work: Reconstruction of a section of Interstate 80 for PennDot. Removal and replacing section of

P.C.C. roadway, asphalt paving, bridge repair and drainage work. My duties included the supervision of

the various areas of work to be completed and coordinating the necessary labor and equipment needed for

the project.

Position: Project Superintendent

Type of work: Owner, Kanawh Coal Co., Charlestion, WA. The project was building a earth fill dam.

Land clearing of 20 acres, 1.5 million CY, 2000 1f of 24 in. RCP pipe for the decant line and all concrete

structures.
