SENIOR DESIGN – 2015 NASA Robotics Mining Competition
Team Manager and Electrical Subsystem Lead – (January – August 2014)
• Managed a four man team in the initial design phase of an autonomous mining robot
• Created an entire system Solidworks CAD model for the initial robot design
• Solely designed and implemented the control systems for the final robot, including battery power,
fuse protection, relays, emergency stop, microcontrollers, drivers, RC, and sensors
• Designed and built electronics enclosure for the robot and coded Arduino microcontroller in C
