As production supervisor in charge of roll forming, power brakes and post-cut
machinery at this Sun City facility, drew up daily production reports and was
responsible for ensuring that the raw materials were in place. Produced weekly
inventories of raw materials and was in charge of all aspects of quality control to
ensure products met customer standards and expectations. In charge of employee
relations -- from hiring, orientation and training to carrying out disciplinary
actions when needed. As a member of the plant safety committee, conducted a
daily “safety toolbox,” a five-minute review of a selected safety topic. Once a
week, led a 30-minute plant-wide discussion of a safety issues, which included a
quiz. Was charged with conducting a weekly safety audit to ensure employees
were appropriately equipped and working in a safe manner as well as a bi-
monthly examination of randomly selected manufacturing procedures.
Responsible for rewriting the operating procedures manual and reviewing safety
procedures to evaluate options for improving current practice. Charged with
evaluating new machines and writing job-safety practice guidelines. Liaison with
customers, helping select colors and finishes. Charged with opening and closing
the facility daily and designated to respond to security alarms 24 hours a day.

Sales person at this Chevrolet dealership charged with meeting prospective
customers, evaluating their needs, showing and demonstrating vehicles, and
submitting applications for credit approval. Post purchase: followed up to ensure
satisfaction and inform about new models available.
1979-2001 Temco Fireplaces, 3660 Oleander Avenue, Perris, CA 92370
Production Supervisor in charge of spot welding department; ensured that all parts
were ready for the assembly line. Supervised power press department, then was
promoted to responsibility for the entire assembly line. Subsequently, spent almost a
dozen years with the chimney section pipeline and cap assembly, included reviewing
plans and writing quality specs and ensuring that parts fit together.

for HR. Traveled to parts plants in Mexico City and Mexicali and head office in
Tennessee. Visited customers and companies that carried our product to ensure
