Qualifications: Over 6 years of experience in the military and private sectors as an electronics

technician with numerous managerial duties. Recognized numerous times by senior personnel for

Work Experience includes:

Computer Sciences Corporation: Electronics Technician (October 2012-November

2013) FOB Ghazni, Afghanistan

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Perform the administration, inspection, modification, troubleshooting, alignment, repair, and

inspection of CREW (Counter RCIED Electronic Warfare) systems

-Lead Tech in Forward Operating Base (FOB) Ghazni in Afghanistan and lone technician for

surrounding area of operation to include FOB Andar, FOB Aryan, FOB Warrior, FOB Boris,

FOB Lilly, and Combat Outpost (COP) Bande-Sardeh.

-Repaired, installed, and upgraded all Counter RCIED (Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive

Device) systems located on the base to include vehicle mounted and stand alone long

range/short range Duke systems and backpack mounted Thor III systems.

-Responsible for accountability and movement of all CREW sensitive items located in

the area of operation.

-Extensive use of Spectrum Analyzers to check all required systems.

-Experience working long hours in a stressful environment with work week being seven days a

week, twelve hours a day.

-Provide technical consultation, including installations, and upgrades of CREW equipment.

-Conducted training courses for the Army, Navy, Air Force and Polish Coalition Forces in the

proper use and maintenance of RF (Radio Frequency) jamming devices.

Tektronix Service Solutions: Calibration Technician III (Apr 2012–October 2012) Phoenix, AZ

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Specialized in the calibration of Radio Frequency test equipment up to 50GHz.

-Equipment includes but is not limited to Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power

Sensors, Signal Generators, and Frequency Counters.

-Performs onsite services which includes the set up and tear down of all necessary test and

measurement equipment to perform calibrations and meet strict deadlines.

-Experience in the use of measurement equipment in different disciplines including

general purpose, radio frequency, and physical/dimensional.

-Familiar with Z540 and ISO/17025 Calibrations.

-Proficient in using SureCal, Vee, and MetCal automated systems.

-Proficient in the use of GIDEP calibration procedure lookup.

United States Marine Corps: Sgt/Calibration Technician(Aug 2007–May 2012)

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Executed daily operations including delegating duties to all lab technicians and reported directly

to Lab Manager.

-Charged with responsibilities as Training NonCommissioned Officer, Assistant Calibration Lab

Manager, Repair Section Head, and Data Analysis Control Group NonCommissioned Officer.

-Wrote lab instructional folders to include procedures on daily operations, management of LAN

systems, and updating lab software.

-Working experience in managing, maintaining, and set up of LAN systems.

-Disassembled and reassembled instruments and equipment, using hand tools, and inspected

instruments and equipment for defects.

-Set up test equipment and conducted tests on performance and reliability of mechanical,

structural, and electromechanical equipment.

-Trained junior and senior calibration technicians in the calibration and repair of radio test sets,

spectrum analyzers, frequency and function generators, multimeters, ohmmeters,

equipment calibrators, RF test sets, power meters, attenuators, torque wrenches, frequency

counters, oscilloscopes, automated test sets, frequency filters, decade resistors, attenuators, and

amplifiers.

-Conferred with engineers, supervisor, and other technical workers to assist with equipment

installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.

-Planned sequence of testing and calibration program for instruments and equipment according to

technical manuals, and other specifications.

-Responsible for over 1,000 pieces of equipment.
