. Governance & Reporting for world-wide hotel chain with over 32,000
employees and 7,500 hotel locations. Track and measure the company's
global carbon footprint and assess ways to lower greenhouse gas emissions
through efficient use of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 energy sources
. Create trainings that link sustainability into the processes of the
Finance, IT, Operations, Sourcing, HR and Marketing departments
. Provide research and data analysis for figures to be entered into
Wyndham's Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative
(GRI) and Dow Jones Sustainability Initiative (DJSI) reports
. Project manager for the branding and education of Wyndham's new organics
and recyclables program. Redesigned the previous signage throughout the
building to become better suited for engaging employees and guests.
Focused on redirecting trash from landfills to the proper recycling and
composting receptacles with Lunch and Learn sessions, e-mail blasts and
employee interaction
. Coordinate with the U.S. Green Building Council of NJ to provide
sustainability training and education courses that focused on how
sustainability affects 6 different departments throughout Wyndham
employees and council members. Lead on promoting the events internally
and externally through several communication channels including social
media, e-mail blasts, and internal newsletters that helped bring about 15
people to 18 different sessions.
. Present, lead tours and showcased the LEED Silver and Gold Certified US
Corporate Headquarters buildings to franchisee owners, building managers,
new hires and students. Highlighted the sustainability aspects of each
part of the building and how they attribute to our overall sustainability
goals.
