Academic Project

Title: A New Watermarking Mechanism For Relational Database

Abstract: A fragile zero watermarking scheme is used to detect and

characterize malicious modifications made to a database relation. The

fragile scheme based on zero watermarking approach detects malicious

modifications made to a database relation. The watermark is generated

(constructed) from the contents of the original data rather than

introduction of permanent distortions as marks into the data. Thus the

scheme is distortion-free and also resolves the inherent conflict between

security and imperceptibility. It also characterizes the malicious data

modifications to quantify the nature of tempering attacks.
