Project:-

I have done project on “Digital DC Drive for PRS3 DC Machine used in Zell Plant Dip

Unit” in JK Tyres & Industries, Mysore. This project describes the designing of DC Drive using

Siemens SIMOREG 6RA70 Digital DC Master. The old conventional Analog drive is replaced

by the Digital DC Drive. For good speed regulation, closed loop control with cascade structure is

implemented. PI controllers are used for fast dynamic response of the system.

Achievements:-

The paper entitled “Closed Loop Speed Regulation of DC Motor Using Phase Control

Thyristor Convertor” Vol. 5 Article 06368; June 2014 was published in International

Journal of Engineering Sciences Research.

Presented a paper titled “Speed Control of PRS-3 machine used in ZELL Plant Dip

Unit”. in two day National Conference on “Developments in the Domain of Electrical

Engineering (NCDDEE-14)” on 10th and 11th of July 2014. ISBN : 978-81-927765-0-3. SSIT,

Tumkur.
