Key Accomplishments:
* May 2012 Lead Developer in Implementing Output Document Conversion Project. Requirement was to convert SAP Script output documents to Adobe forms output documents. Created common functions modules code to reduce similar code used across Billing Docs, Material Doc, Order Confirmation Docs. The Benefits attained from implementing this project were reduction of sap code, easier to maintain and update, as well as upgrading to Adobe forms from Sap scripts which is an older output document technology.
* Reduced production support ABAP program enhancements backlog for the Sales & Distribution module.
* Documented previously written ABAP programs, thus reducing future development time, when modifying previously written ABAP programs.
* Participated in the SAP upgrade from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6.0 on January 12-2012 to October 12-2012. Responsibilities were test current programs, fix programs errors, test user exits code and BADI code, apply OSS notes, resolve SD search help errors.

Multi-talented developer relied upon to analyze, code, test & implement ABAP programs, functions, user exits, BADI’s, BAPI’s and SAP OSS notes related to the Sales & Distribution module. Configures IMG components such as enterprise structure, master data, enhancement framework, order-through-cash, pricing procedures and copy management.
Key Accomplishments:
* April 2006 SAP Technical Lead in Implementing SAP ECC 6.0 for Tellabs Brazil. This was an 8 month project which was primarily implemented on site in Sao Paulo Brazil. One of my responsibilities on this project was to Interface with following stake holders: Deloitte Brazil SAP technical consults, Tellabs Brazil Business staff, Tellabs USA Order Management staff and Tellabs USA SAP Technical Staff. Other responsibilities on this project included ensuring Tellabs Internal ABAP coding standards were followed, Configure IMG components for SAP Brazil, tested and code nota fiscal, user exits and other internal reports.
* Instrumental in designing, developing and implementing major output documents (order confirmations, packing lists and invoices) sent to customers. In 2010, redesigned, developed and implemented a better solution using SmartForms (initially developed in SAPScript). New solution provides several benefits:
* Easier to maintain due to common function modules used across all documents.
* Additional sales organizations can be added to the system with minimal development.
* Users can control whether certain fields are printed based on specific characteristics (e.g. Sales Organization, Customer, etc) using a custom ABAP Web Dynpro application. This eliminates the need for additional development to accommodate specific customer requirements.
* Brazil Dec 2011 – Successfully implemented SPED Electronic Nota Fiscal(NFE). My responsibilities were to implement SAP SPED notes to make our current SAP SPED NFE compliant, Configure IMG components for NFE, code ABAP changes that were required for implementing NFE and unit test. SPED Benefits transparent financial reporting, business performance measurement and significant upgrade to internal controls.
* 2000-2002 Lead ABAP Developer – eConfigurator key team member in creating a sales proposal e-configuration tool on the web linked to SAP. Implementation of this tool led to substantial savings in year one and beyond. Automated large/complex capital equipment orders with a reduction in pricing, materials, key punch errors and returns.
* My responsibilities included the following:
* Modifying the SAP_SALESORDER_CREATE bapi,
* Validating Data file sent over to SAP – Wrote Data Validation ABAP Programs.
* Configured KMAT Data for the BAPI to create the KMAT order correctly.
* Ensured the pricing was valid and processed correctly in the order.
* Trained Order Management Employees on using the tool. eConfigurator tool saved many man hours of order entry task.
* On going support of the tool from 2002 to April 2011
Other Project Highlights:
* Involved with several SAP upgrades (3.0e to 4.6b to 4.7 Enterprise to ECC 6.0).
* Managed batch job scheduling for the team, including invoicing, invoice print jobs and reporting. IBM Tivoli was used as the scheduling tool that interfaced with SAP.
