Objective & Goal:
Have recently moved back to the Seattle area permanently. From 1981 thru 2003 was licensed in the
State of Illinois for Life & Health and Property & Casualty. On 11/5/2013, was reissued License
#2626435 authorized by the State of Wisconsin to transact business for Life, Accident & Health.
My plan is to apply for a Washington Insurance Producer’s license once residency is established. Ideally, I
would prefer to team up with an insurance / investment firm. My focus will be recruiting high end clients
with emphasis on professional athletes…such as players who are currently active in the NFL (National
Football League) or recently retired. I am a member of the NFL Alumni and Retired NFL Players
Association.

Creator and Host of the Sports Talk Show “Livin’ Sports” heard weekly on WIND 560. A very unique talk
show which included interviews with many current and former professional athletes and sport celebrities.
Had many different guest hosts in studio each week. Hosted over 100 shows on AM 560 and ended his
last show on 1/22/12 by interviewing Jeff Pearlman the author of the book ‘SWEETNESS” The Enigmatic
Life of Walter Payton, one of his former teammates. Wrote all scripts and commercials and personally

Camp Director and Head Coach. Served as Director & Coach of the Chicago Bears Youth Football

tailored for young football players 6 to 13 years of age.

stressing the importance of academics and how athletics play a major role in their development of life

Owner/Inventor: Created, invented, and patented a unique golf cooler called the “ Joey Bag”.
Responsibilities for this hobby/job included procurement, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and licensing.
Organized and handled marketing set-up, as well as shipping for national trade and golf shows.
Accomplishments include the following:
* Successfully marketed the product so that it was carried in over 2,500 golf and sporting goods
stores throughout the United States.
* Negotiated royalty contacts with the NFL, NCAA, NBA, MLB, PGA and NASCAR, so that nearly
every sports logo available could be imprinted on the Joey Bag.
* Voted #1 Advertising-Specialty item for golf outings in 1994 by Golf USA.

* Number one producer (premium dollars) for Surety Life in the Chicago area (1987 & 1989).
* Million Dollar Round Table Member for being a top producer for Jackson National Life (1986-
1992).

Director/Coach: Responsible for the creation, implementation, scheduling and general management of a
youth football camp. Designed, developed, and marketed the camp to players regionally and nationally.
Developed curriculum to fit the player’s ability level. Taught both offensive and defensive skills to youth
aged 8 to 15 years of age.

Professional Athlete: Played as a starting fullback, tight end, and specialty teams player including punt,
punt-return, kickoff, and kickoff-return teams. Demonstrated a strong work ethic and mental toughness by
playing one of the most difficult positions in professional sports. Utilized assessment skills to adapt to
various offensive and defensive strategies. Learned quickly and showed flexibility as a role player under
different coaching styles. Worked closely with players from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds in
order to achieve team goals. One of a few NFL players to ever start at two completely different offensive
positions. Served as blocking back for Walter Payton’s NFL record breaking 275 yard rushing game in
1977. Special teams captain for the 1984-85 two-time Eastern Conference Champion Birmingham
Stallions.
