QUALIFICATIONS
I have over 20 years of experience successfully selling and managing
all aspects of a multi million dollar home leisure products retail
store in the fiercely competitive Chicagoland market. I believe
success is the result of team building and leadership gained by
educating and sharing my knowledge and experience using role playing
techniques, competitive shopping including brick and mortar retailers
as well as internet based retailers, and utilizing customer feedback
and suggestions to improve performance and reach sales goals. Staying
focused, leading by example, attention to detail and most importantly
meeting and exceeding the expectations of the consumer are the keys to
a successful sale, earning customer loyalty that generates repeat
buyers and referrals.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
2008-Present
Store Operations Manager & Swimming Pool related accessories
buyer. Four Seasons of Fun (formerly F.I.M. Stores) Alsip,
New Lenox, and Bloomingdale Illinois I was brought aboard to
lead a sales team and bolster sales as well as having direct
input regarding product purchasing and selection of new
products and product lines. In the face of economic
uncertainty we were able to grow gross sales by 12% over the
previous year's performance by focusing on customer service,
instituting a customer contact follow-up procedure and
product training. Launched a successful internet based
virtual store to sell through excess inventory and slow
moving items which generated $78,000 in gross sales in 8
months. Outsourced deliveries to reduce costs and gain
efficiency in warehouse and delivery operations.

million dollars in 2004 to over $8 million in 2008. Secondary
responsibilities included subcontracting and managing
swimming pool installations, ordering chemicals and supplies
to keep the store stocked and handling all customer service
issues. I have increased gross sales by double digit growth
for each of the previous years while not allowing overhead
costs to exceed the growth in sales.
