As the Manpower and Personnel Flight Commander for the 673rd Force Support
Squadron on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, I headed a 75 member department
responsible for providing Military and Civilian Personnel services to 16,000 active duty
members (Air Force and Army), 28,000 family members, 3,100 civilians and 6,100 military
retirees.
Daily task as the Manpower and Personnel Flight Commander included;
• Facilitating open lines of communication between the 3rd Air Force Wing, 673rd Fighter
Squadron, DoD agencies and Major Command for Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson
• Providing academic advising to degree seeking Airmen attending or planning to attend the
Community College of the Air force as well as other avenues of vocational training
• leading and mentoring Airman and civilians through all aspects of personal and
professional development, particularly in areas of training, education and benefits
• managing three critical personnel databases in order to track, analyze and verify service
members’ career development
• creating and implementing educational and training procedures in order to meet unit
readiness status
• informing the base population on career development opportunities and programs through

As the Sustainment Services Flight Commander I successfully headed the largest Flight
on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson. With five departments made up of 352 military members
and civilian employees, my daily duty was to ensure excellent service and support to 56,000
service members, family members, civilians and retirees on three military installations throughout
Alaska.
Under my command, the Sustainment flight operated and maintained the following;
Laundry services for three military bases, two hospitals and 31 lodging facilities,

processing more that 2 million pounds of laundry. This operation required a working
payroll of $3,000,000 and is only one of two in the US Air Force.
Managing three recreational fitness facilities which included of two public pools, nine

fitness areas and eight community areas thought Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson
Directing Dining Facility contracts for four separate departments and three dining
•
facilities valued at $11M in operating cost
Successfully management and oversight of a $14M budget for 673rd Air Base Wing

As the Chief of the Military Readiness Section on Royal Air Base Mildenhall, I Led a 6
member team tasked with providing service to 4,000 military members on military training and
deployment operations. In this position I acted as the liaison between inter agency departments
and host nation government agencies in order to maintain Air Force professional readiness for
the base population. Other duties performed in this position include;
Liaison with the Department of State and the London U.S. Embassy in order to

As the Education Service Manager, I executed Air Force policy regarding Developmental
Education at the Headquarters level. I was responsible for processing and providing academic
advising and counseling requests for Intermediate and Senior Developmental Education for over
11,000 members and Senior Raters in the process, both Officer and Civilian. Here I facilitated the
process from nomination to designation ensuring senior leaders attended the school necessary
for their continued career development.

My first duty for the Air Force was as an International Education Services Lead. Here I
managed Southern Command countries putting students in United States Air Force training

Inter American Air Forces Academy (IAAFA) at Lackland, Air Force Base.
