About Me!
As stated below, I am attending College of Southern Nevada and currently seeking an
Associate’s degree in the field of accounting. I am also seeking immediate full-time employment.
Though most of my job history relates to customer service and restaurant related work, I would
be open to other fields. If you were to ask my past managers and co-workers about my job
performance and my mannerisms in the workplace, I am confident that they would describe me
as always willing to learn quickly & go above & beyond my duties to get my (& sometimes
others’) job done, vehemently hard-working, very responsible, reliable, helpful, fun-loving,
empowered, attentive, punctual, a team player, honest, articulate, and interpersonal. My hobbies
include drawing, reading, playing video games, writing and producing music, and hiking.
Experience!
07/2014 – 09/2014
GiveRight, Inc – Telefundraiser II
Description: As a telefundraiser at GRI, my main objective was to conduct outbound telephone
calls on behalf of Non-Profit organizations (ie. Habitat For Humanity, The Heritage Foundation,
World Wildlife Fund, UNC - North Carolina Public Television/PBS, Covenant House, Sloan
Kettering Center for Cancer Research, etc.) to receive donations. When I was terminated from
this position, my managers couldn’t come up with a solid reason for why I was being terminated
and I never signed any paperwork, so I’m honestly still not sure why I was terminated. This was
an extremely dishonest company that would deceive& nearly force very innocent,, & generous
(and sadly, naïve) supporters of these legitimate non-profit organizations to give donations.
Employees were coached to lie & do whatever it took to get money on every single phone call. I
had spoken with managers about how I felt guilty about doing this & I believe that was part of
the reason why I was fired, even though I was never late, had no “no-call, no-show’s”, and was
often told how well I performed, even just 1 day before I was terminated. Long story short: I
don’t know why I was terminated, but I was unfortunately terminated.
