Technician/Operator or related position. I have proficient knowledge in

basic process industry operating/safety principles and have become familiar

with troubleshooting various system errors from college training as well as

my most recent position. I am extremely eager and motivated to increase

Duties:

-Worked in a pilot plant performing many baseline and DOE programs using

various catalysts in order to isolate optimum conditions to convert biomass

to BTX using a Distributed Control System (DCS) as well as physical on site

plant work.

-Procured, prepared, and purified various renewably-sourced raw materials

for incorporation into PET

- Sampled gases, liquids, solids from various process points and am

familiar with LIMS labeling system.

-Operated and maintained various high pressure/high temperature reactor

systems in bench scale lab and pilot plant both batch and continuous of

varying sizes (50 mL, 500mL, 12L, Fixed Bed) for the conversion of biomass

to chemicals.

-Used various wet chemistry techniques including filtering, separating, and

distilling at small and large scales.

-Assisted engineers with the design, fabrication and testing of new

reactors and processes

-Ran many GC-MS samples to analyze reaction results in order to support

continuous improvement efforts.

-Assisted in developing and revising documents, technical requirements and

operating procedures for both pilot plant and bench scale lab facilities.

-Operated Forklift and 55gal barrel lift

-Maintained inventory of chemicals and supplies (pipe fittings, hoses,

etc), Maintained detailed laboratory records.

- Properly used personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Monitored and controlled processes converting biomass to chemicals by

setting valves and controls.

- Operated various equipment units: mix tanks, agitators, pumps, heat

exchangers, high temperature and high pressure reactors, distillation

- Calculated starting materials and prepared catalyst samples.

- Made adjustments to batches per laboratory instruction

- Troubleshooting processing problems and took corrective actions including

servicing and maintaining equipment on daily basis.
