Title: Pathshala

Location: PES Institute of Technology and Management, Shivamogga.

Environment: C# .Net as frontend & SQL Server 2005 as backend.

Description of the project:

Online management system can be seen in almost all educational

organizations. However, its growth in developing countries has been slower

than that of the developed countries. The computerized system will replace

the manual system currently used in the running in the deparments. This

system will contribute to minimizing the time required for storing,

processing, retrieving and organizing data in the departments. Moreover,

the system will help to improve communication among the members of each

department. This system is called Pathshala.

Pathshala is a online web application where we atomize all the

operations carried out in an institute. This is the distributed system

which enables a student and faculty to access the details from the

repository remotely.

Aim of this is to design a system for the institution which will

computerize all the academic formalities of the student's profile and also

to assist in smooth conduction of curriculum.

ACHIEVEMENTS

. A National Cadet Corps(NCC).

. Won 1st Prize in "Counter- Strike" Computer- Gaming Compition

conducted by 'EMINENCE-11'.
