Memory in Multi Core Processors

> Better Utilization Of Cache Memory in Multi Core Processors (Linux OS)

> Minimized the Average Memory Access Time (AMAT) of Cache memory so

that users or software designers can take fuller advantage of the new

multicore systems.

Program Title: LINUX ADMINISTRATION

Description:

> Expertise in basics of LINUX ADMINISTRATION which includes basic

concepts of Linux, User management, Disk Management, Package

Management, Server Management, Security Implementation and Scripting.

> Worked over RED HAT ENTERPRISE LINUX Server Edition.

> Acquired skills to manage the partions, creating LVM, Package

Installation using RPM and Yum and functioning of servers FTP, SQUID,

SAMBA, DHCP, NFS and APACHE.

Program Title: SERVER SETUP

Description:

> Designed a Project on Setting up of SAMBA SERVER and maintaining its

security on RED HAT ENTERPRISE LINUX (RHEL 6.5) platform with client

system as WINDOWS XP and using SQUID server for controlling the access

of users, and adding other control features to it.

> Project also included use of DHCP protocol for automatically assigning

IP address to client systems and their connectivity to the Server.

> Technology used- Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS (6.5), VMware Player.

Program Title: Android Application Development

Description:

> Summer Training on Android Application Development. Training included

learning basics of Android like using Activities, Services, Broadcast

Receivers, functioning of SQLite Database etc.

> Project on NBA QUIZ APP Developed on Android

> Project included developing an Android app for Valeteck which consist

of 7 levels to be cleared, User has to recognize the face of each

basketball player presented in each level in the form of grid view.

> On Scoring particular score the next level gets unlocked .The project

implemented the concept of SQLite Database, layouts designing,

Customized Buttons and Activities.

Program Title: Android Application Development

Description:

> Project on EMERGENCY MESSANGER APP Developed on Android

> Project included developing an Android app for Valeteck which allows

the user to send the current location with a message to an emergency

number entered by the user by just clicking the power button twice.

> User has to start the Service which continuously fetches the location

of the user based on given time interval and distance even in case of

no internet user will be able to send the location where he is just by

tapping the power button twice

> This project implemented the concept of Services, Geocoding and

Reverse Geocoding, Broadcast Receiver and Activities.
