PRESIDENT
< Recruited to revitalize the commercial viability and market presence of a
privately held engineered-to-order electrical insulation fabrication
business that had gone through three Presidents in 3 years.
< Hired 2 new Operations Managers and implemented Lean Manufacturing
principles and 5S at both Operations. Established Job Descriptions and
Operating & Quality Standards and developed Key Performance Metrics to
drive alignment. Gained ISO 9001 re-registration.
< Implemented a business strategy to grow revenue both with existing
accounts and new target customers; hired a new Director of Sales and
implemented Key Account Management processes. Achieved overall Sales
Revenue growth of 19%. Developed new Accounts in USA and Belgium.
< Provided key assistance to former Company Ownership group to sell the
business to a New York based Private Equity firm in June 2014.

< Implemented a new logistics strategy, establishing a new operation in
Mississauga, generating $600,000 in outbound freight savings while
improving delivery times and customer service. Negotiated advantageous
freight rates from Northern Ontario to the GTA using backhaul
opportunities with Home Hardware's company fleet.
< Instrumental in making a decision with the shareholders to scale back
company operations required due to the high Canadian dollar and weak U.S.
building market resulting in significant senior executive and employee
downsizing.

< Offered challenging appointment after a personal interview from the CEO
of the Finnish-based company to deliver a swift turnaround of the
underperforming North America south region.
< Assessed business unit, devised and implemented a rapid far-reaching
reorganization refocusing the Sales organization to value selling versus
existing commodity, and introducing manufacturing best practices, key
performance indices and advanced process automation across 5 chemical
plants (4 in the United States and 1 in Mexico) generating revenues of
~$400 million.
< Drove the development of a North American distribution alliance with
Quality Carriers that resulted in annual savings of ~$1.5 million.
< Led the implementation of Six Sigma at Arclin's flagship plant in
Springfield, Oregon resulting in first year savings well north of $1
million.
< Led the implementation of a Behaviour Based Safety program at all 5
facilities that resulted in a dramatic improvement in safety culture and
improved safety and environmental record.
< Played the pivotal role in selling Dynea's North American business unit
to the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan and securing $250 million in debt
financing in New York capital market.

< Led efforts to achieve ISO 9001 and QS 9000 Registrations for the
Lubricants business.
< Developed new lubricant feedstock and transportation suppliers

$10 million in annual feedstock acquisition costs.
< Led the sweeping modernization and automation of the lubricant
blending and high speed packaging facility in Mississauga resulting in
over $1.5 million in profitability improvement.
< Drove increased sales of packaged lubricant products through the
Wholesale Distributor channel by increasing their product knowledge
