PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: Accomplished, forward thinking Senior Geologist &
Geotechnical Project Manager. Published geological researcher. Ample
experience with Project Management, and Corporate Mining Management,
within the Geotechnical Industry, as well as Underground and Surface
Resource Operations. Dedication to delivering quality results, within
budget and on schedule, have been a staple of my career.
CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS:
> Published geological research in two prestigious scientific journals.
This remote sensing research focused on the surficial geomorphology
of the carbonate tidal flat environment on Andros Island, Bahamas,
studying the fractal patterns, complex carbonate petrology, and
lithology. Presented the findings at the National Convention of the
Geological Society of America, and NASA District Meetings. The
results were published in the "Geotimes", and front cover and lead
article of "Geology". During this time, I also worked with Martin
Marietta in Alden, Iowa, conducting geophysical mapping pertaining to
an aggregate project.

> Successfully managed a groundbreaking project for assessing
industrial garnet within the Rocky Mountains. Functioned as Geology
Manager, created a new QA/QC program, planned and executed trenching,
diamond drilling, mapping and modeling. Also introduced Attrition
Cell processing for molecularly fused hornblende-garnet. As a
result, a new mine is now being constructed, securing a future for
the Abrasives Industry. Please view the link below, these are the
results from my exploration that has strengthened the bottom line of
mining corporations.

(Author of Final Report)
> Discovered a high grade Silver-Copper-Lead vein (Tetrahedrite,
Chalcopyrite, Galena, Siderite) that is still being mined today. This
vein averages 130.0' strike, and generates substantial revenue each
month. Managed geological operations for all working levels of the
Galena Mine in the Silver Valley of North Idaho.
PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Senior Geologist / Project Manager - The Judy Company Inc. - Kansas City,
KS May 2014 - Present Position
Duties include: Project Estimating, Developing, Managing, and QA/QC. The
company specializes in a host of Geotechnical services. Managing the
complete scope of a project is my core responsibility, from budgeting and
forming project proposals, submittals, drawings & specifications, assuring
work site records, financial efficiency, to the successful completion of
projects with the primary goal of client satisfaction. Please note: My
efforts with the company have been diligent, and have extended the survival
of the company. However, the company is near to closing its doors. My
employer still values me, and is regretful over the resulting
circumstances, and is available for comment. I am looking for stability to
support my family, and willing to relocate.
Senior Mine & Exploration Geologist - Harrisonville, MO
2008 - April 2014
Intensive, organized, and professional resource exploration for companies
possessing claims to unexplored areas, and rehabilitated properties.
Producing technical feasibility reports, delineations of oil plays and ore
deposits, reserve/resource calculations geologic surface & cross section
analysis, while assessing historical and regional geologic trends.
Supervise, plan, and develop the following: exploration program protocols,
QA/QC controls, budgets, negotiating & securing sub-contractor support,
trench and diamond drill exploration programs, as well as core
logging/advising. Extensive investigation with Carbonate lithology's,
Polymetallic Systems, including but not limited to: Oil and Aggregate
formations, Garnet, Quartz, Silver, Lead, Gold, copper porphyry deposits,
and Belt Supergroup formations. Perform geochemical analysis to create an
index for property rock type classifications to be utilized in future
exploration, and production.
Company List - abbreviated descriptions.
GMRV Industrial Resources - Industrial & Polymetallic
Idaho State Regional Center - Garnet USA LLC. - Industrial (Permissioned
for detail, see below.)
Toucan Minerals LLC. - Industrial & Polymetallic
Martin Marietta - Industrial
Project Exploration Geologic Manager - ISRC - Garnet USA LLC. -Ruby Valley,
Montana 2012
Ascertaining the garnet and aggregate potential for mining from this hard
rock source was the overall goal of the project. Previous mining of garnet
in the Ruby Valley region had been from alluvial deposits, this unique
project focused on the hard rock source of garnets within the Rocky
Mountains. This is paramount in developing new methods of exploration &
mining for industrial garnet, securing a future for the abrasives industry.
Duties included: Supervise sub-contractors, field work involving mapping
complex trench and surface geology, designing and logging the diamond drill
program, reviewing in-field quality controls, geological sampling, cross-
section analysis, and on site remediation review/compliance with State
Department of Environmental Quality. Office work included: interpreting,
and processing complex geological data, ensuring quality assurance/quality
controls, managed project budgets, wrote technical reports, as well as the
projects final report.
Production & Development Mine Geologist - U.S. Silver Corp. - Galena Mine
- Wallace, ID. 2006 - 2008
Company mines predominantly lead and silver resources, with secondary
copper. Responsibilities included daily mapping and sampling of Mechanized,
Conventional, and Development drifts. Quantitative & qualitative ore grade
control. Discovered new (Silver-Lead-Copper) vein with 130.0' strike
length. Reported recommendations for improved mining practice in all
headings. Utilized (ACAD, Gemcom, Powerpoint, Excel etc.) for geologic
interpretations of vein structures producing representative maps and
models. Developed new version of ore control maps that are now implemented
after each successive cut. Trained new Mine Geologists. Assisted in
creation of company formal presentations, and editing 43-101 technical
reports. Designated company liaison for underground tours for investors,
members of congress, industry executives, and college staff/students.
Office Asst. Manager/Asst. Geologist - Idaho Dept. of Parks & Recreation -
Farragut State Park - Athol, Idaho 2003 - 2006
Office Asst. Manager, and doubled as an Assistant Park Ranger. Tasks
included managing the Reserve America computer system, answering all
camping, recreational, environmental, as well as detailed historical, and
geological questions posed by visitors. Commissioned by Park Manager to
author a geologic report for park visitors.
Research Geologist - Dept. of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences, Ames,
Iowa 2001 - 2003
Conducted research pertaining to the island of Andros, Bahamas. Remote
sensing research of this kind, assessing modern carbonate tidal flat
environments, had previously not been attempted. Precise 4-meter and 1-
meter spectral images, combined with drill core data, revealed detailed
geomorphic changes in the region, as well as fractal evolution, when
compared to past research that included aerial images taken in 1943. This
research is vital for coastal communities in developing conservation
strategies for erosion, and adapting to climate change. Duties also
included writing abstracts, and grant proposals. Utilized ER Mapper, and
other imagery software. This research was presented at the 2001 National
Convention of the Geological Society of America in Boston, MA. and The NASA
Iowa Space Grant Consortium Meetings. This research was also published in
the journals of "Geology", and "GeoTimes".
