Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities included:

Supervision of all County IT encompassing over 1000 users across 17 locations.

Establishing department policies and procedures

Preparing annual operating and capital budgets

Designing and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans

Research, design and bid spec preparation of all hardware and software purchases

Terminated the County’s IT services contract and established an in-house IT Department

Analyzed and renegotiated various maintenance and support contracts to reduce costs

Upgraded the Frame-Relay WAN to a private fiber network

Oversaw network upgrades including a 600 phone Cisco VoIP implementation

Supervised MS Exchange, Windows Server, Windows Desktop and Anti -Virus upgrades

Virtualized over 60 physical servers with VMware and oversaw several SAN upgrades
