Scrum Master- Contracted locally to lead 3 Scrum teams to higher
performance. Responsible for Assisting Product Owner with Backlog
Grooming in addition to coaching teams to Agile best practices. This
includes Sprint Planning, Daily Standup meetings, Sprint Review and
Retrospectives. All Development teams are offshore and have been
practicing internally interpretation of Scrum. Part of my responsibilities
are to help them move to industry best practices. All Sprints are two
weeks and will have Test Driven Development being introduced for the first
time. Reporting is via burn down and burn up charts. They do have
Scheduled Scrum of Scrum meetings, which are now status meetings. We have
changed the agenda to focus on group interdependencies, impediments and how
we can help each other improve our processes.

Scrum Master Lead successful transition from Waterfall to Agile/Scrum for
one team. Acting as Scrum coach for
three new startup teams with practices including TDD. Responsible for
Backlog Grooming, Sprint planning, Daily

Sr Infrastructure Project Manager, Dekalb County 911 Stabilization January
2013 - May 2013
Sr Project manager was responsible for onsite management of
stabilization project for e911 system. Tasks included communications
and coordination between vendor and County staff. Key areas of focus
were team building and process development, including the
revitalization of the Problem reporting and resolution system and
development of Change Management process.

Manager, PC Development and Support from 1987-1996. Managed an 18-member
department which provided new development, 2nd Level customer support,
client training, and functional enhancements for multiple product lines,
including Windows, UNIX, Xenix and DOS, using MS SQL, FoxPro, Visual
Basic, C and Assembly languages. Products were Travel agent interfaces
and back office accounting.
Sponsored and developed a new client/server decision support system for
Travel Agency management. Managed all technical phases of the project on
a team including Marketing, Help Desk, and Technical Support. Oversaw
department budget, and HR recruitment/hiring/training. Tools included
Unified methodology, C++, MS SQL Server in a 3-tier Client/Server
architecture.
In 1987, led R&D on a Tandem System during product evaluation and
comparison. Prototyped applications, and wrote/presented result papers to
executive leadership.
1983 - 1987 Utlas
Application developer for library automation software. Developed new
algorithyms for index rebuilds that reduced the time required by a factor
of 10. Responsible for new development, software maintenance and
customer support.
