Experience
Registered Nurse Norton healthcare 2005-present
Initially worked on a monitored medical surgical unit in adult care for Norton Audubon Hospital. Transferred in May 2006 to
Kosair Childrens Hospital. I currently work as a bedside nurse on the inpatient pediatric psychiatric unit. Part of my
responsibilities include patient care for both children and adolescents including admission paperwork of the patients,
administering medications, and facilitating a safe therapeutic environment for the patients . I also worked as a Crisis
P revention Instructor (CPI) for the last 4 years on a monthly basis for Norton employees. I am also an active member of the
Kosair Education Committee for the last 3 yrs.
Employee assistance Counselor Wayne Corp 2001-2003
Responsibilities included providing employee assistance in the form of private counseling sessions to discuss concerns, on site
mental health/job stress information sessions to employees, and present service at new employee orientations. In this position,
I worked under my social work degree as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I had several companies I would be
assigned to as the Employee Assistance Counselor so interface with the company’s human resources department was common
as a part of the job.
Social WOrker Charter Behavioral Health 1995-1999
Worked as a social worker in admissions and later transferred internally to a residential psychiatric adolescent unit.
Responsible for assessing clients to determine level of care and make appropriate referrals. On the residential unit, I conducted
i ndividual, family, and group therapy as well as treatment planning as an active member of the treatment team.
