management for a multiple site company. Created and implemented in-
depth employment physical to determine that correct level of fitness
for the position employee is being hired for. This included back x-
rays to determine a baseline in the event of a future back injury.
. Design healthcare plans that are company self-funded and managed
through third party vendors. Implemented a 3 phase wellness program
that includes yearly biometric testing for all employees. Review
healthcare plans yearly and make adjustments to plan design and
employee cost structure as needed. Review claims for stop loss
situations. Oversee daily questions and concerns from employees on
how the programs are structured and problem resolutions.
. Manage the workers compensation program. Monitor claims, litigations,
settlements and overall details of the workers compensation process
through both conventional insurance companies and a captive insurance
group. Oversee the return to work program for injured workers.
. Company Representative for union issues such as grievances,
arbitrations and mediation processes. Participated in union contract
negotiations as a key negotiator. Handled all employee relation
issues for an employee population up to 350 people.
. Oversee the 401k retirement plan as an assistant administrator. Make
changes to the plan and fund choices after periodic audits,
communicate plan changes and/or investment opportunities to our
employees. Educate employees on the benefits of participating in the
401k plan.
. Implement safety policies and practices to be observed in all work
areas. Co-chairperson of the Safety Committee.
. Managed all government required policies and procedure such as HIPAA,
ADA, EEO and FMLA compliance. Create, maintain and implement company

. Oversee all HR Generalist functions such as employee relations,
