Integration-EDOS

Cisco acquired Scientific-Atlanta (now known as SPVTG) in 2006; SPVTG was

fulfilling orders and creating enablement files for those orders through

its SAP, PEXP and PIMS systems. Also, at the time of the acquisition, all

of SPVTG's products were being manufactured by their company-owned

manufacturing plant in Juarez, MX. Over the years, the manufacture of

SPVTG products has expanded to include a number of non-Cisco owned

plants/repair centers and the collection of manufacturing data, order

fulfillment and enablement has grown to be a hybrid of many systems,

including SAP, SAP XI, Oracle, HVP, PEXP, and PIMS.

As a part of the SPVTG Acquisition integration program, Cisco is

planning to integrate Scientific Atlanta's current capabilities to support

Enablement Data File generation and distribution via Cisco Core systems.

Enablement Data integration legacy data needs to be migrated from various

systems into Cisco Core Systems.
