Bowne Management Systems, Inc. GIS Technician II 2007 2010
At Bowne I worked on the following contracts:
New York City DoITT, Citywide Street Centerline (CSCL), Phase II Helped develop
an application that was used to determine the validity of the New York City Police address database. I
helped develop a training program for the application and trained temp workers to use the application in the
field. I was also an assistant manager/ manager of 5 workers in the field and took care of equipment and
loaded data daily into the equipment. Later I used a variation of this application to map the access and
entrances of schools around the 5 boroughs of New York City.
Nassau County Dept. of Information Technology, NCGIS 2009 Support. was responsible for helping to
classify the types of landmarks in Nassau County. I went through the landmarks and determined the types
of landmarks they were.
Town of Hempstead Dept. of Sanitation 2008 Application Development. linked address points to the street
segment they were addressed to for sanitation. Suffolk County Tax Map Conversion Phase II. corrected
.mxts of Suffolk tax maps to match tax map books. The maps are to be used by Suffolk County for maps
requested
Nassau County Dept. of Information Technology, 2007 NCGIS Updates Geocoded and confirmed
addresses in support for the Nassau County Police CAD system.
Town of Oyster Bay Comptroller’s Office, 2007 GIS Support Supported engineering staff in need of GIS
components. I made several maps for parcels used by engineers.
Town of Eastchester, 2007 ORPS Grant Scanned and georegistered hand drawn tax maps, created a
geodatabase, digitized the parcels and other map features and entered parcel attributes so it would link to
the Town’s Assessment database.

Member of a team that developed an urban design study that, when complete, will outline the challenges
posed by planning temporary relief housing in urban areas. My specific responsibilities included assisting
in research areas including: damage and displacement projections analysis of New York City's housing
market regulatory environment and precedents for temporary housing. I also documented research,
