Responsible for the functional analysis, technical design, and implementation of FRMS, a
web based application that used the Windows Distributed Internet Applications Architecture
(DNA). The purpose of the Financial Request Management System was to track all steps related
to a Request of Information from the finance department at Attachmate. The system included a
groupware feature that combined electronic mail and a web based interface.
The client side consisted of web based system that used DHTML on Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1,
VBScript, client side XML processing, server side XML processing, and Cascading Style Sheets
to give the user a rich visual experience. He implemented business rules on the middle layer with
a combination
of Active Server Pages on IIS 4.0 and Visual Basic 6.0 COM objects. The third layer consisted of

involved a Banyan network with a ninety node token ring interface on a Banyan CNS Server.
Founded and supervised the office automation department and established an internal education
program for all employees.

Created a database for Communication Canada and another database for the for Remote
Sensing.
Geological Survey of Canada - July 1986 to March 1987
Data Coder
Researched and compiled data for the National Mines and Mineral Deposits of Canada
database. He created geochemical maps.
