manufacture of Soda Ash, a heavy chemical

and Ammonium Chloride, a nitrogenous

fertilizer at its factory at Tuticorin. TAC is a

Group Company of M/s Southern

Petrochemical Industries Corpn. Ltd (SPIC).

Worked in the various divisions of TAC for

about 30 years from October 1982 to

12.4.2013.

From 1982 to 1987, worked as a Sr. Steno to

various Department Heads at TAC Tuticorin

Site;

From 1987 to April 2013 – Worked as a

Senior Assistant (Secretarial) in the Head

Office at Chennai and looked after the

following jobs :

Secretarial functions, Board Meeting works,

Printing of Annual Reports, etc.

Follow up with Port Trust land matters with

PWD, Secretariat;

Scrutinizing of Housing loan documents, and

Follow up with HDFC Limited, Chennai and

Canfin Homes, Chennai for Housing loan

disbursements to employees;

Also, looked after HR functions like

maintaining personnel files, updation of leave

cards, scrutinizing and disbursement of

medical bills, Leave Travel Concession,

Increments & Staff Promotions, printing and

stationery, filing of statutory forms with the

concerned authorities.

Fully conversant with MS Office & Excel.

REASON FOR LEAVING : As a part of the restructuring exercise, the

Management of TAC has recently closed

the Chennai office and relocated majority of

the employees (including me) to Tuticorin.

Since my presence is required by my family

at Chennai, I did not opt for transfer and

hence resigned and relieved from the

services of the Company w.e.f. 12th April,

2013.
